Experience
Jeanine has a track record of executive director leadership with an emotionally intelligent style that wins trust and builds strong relationships across diverse groups and levels of leadership. She has a proven ability to take an idea from innovation to implementation and achieve results. Through her leadership with key stakeholders she created and expanded a new nonprofit using a coalition model. In doing so she brought an important policy issue out of the closet with numerous policy successes, including laying the foundation for the eventual passage of the first bill of its kind in the history of Congress!
Given her love for mission-oriented success Jeanine moved from being an executive director to coaching them. As an Executive Coach since 2003 Jeanine has more than 1000 hours coaching leaders towards achieving their goals. Her interpersonal skills are her strong suit with a warm upbeat style, excellent listening skills and a keen understanding of others. She focuses on both process and results.
Jeanine is also trained as a social psychologist, earning a doctorate degree from the University of Vermont. She was part of the faculty of the Center for Continuing and Professional Education at Georgetown University where she taught communication and leadership coaching courses for five years.
In 2009, Jeanine was recognized by the Washington Post as one of twenty successful professionals in Washington, D.C. and invited to offer her expertise as a regular contributor to an online series on success.
